OCTOBER, YOU DID IT AGAIN

What’s a girl to do when her besties are October babies? Why, design things for them and organize a crafty ladies day out (with the fiscal help of their special men), of course. Judging from last year, this smells like a tradition. This year’s menu? Screen printing!

TWO MONTHS OLD

He’s cooing and smiling a lot these days. He’s so precious, I have to keep myself from slurping him up like noodle soup.

NEW BALANCE

Two months with two boys. It’s been marvelous and crazy. Sure, I’ve lost some things – sleep, quiet time, and… er… patience, but I’ve gained a heap of these amazing moments that I never knew two little people can bestow.

HOW PINTERESTING!

Uh oh. Ever since the Pinterest meet up at West Elm last month, I’ve been a tad preoccupied with curating inspiration from around the world wide web (among the diaper changes, feedings, and playtime, of course). Okay, okay. Perhaps my preoccupation has gone on long before that. I’ve enjoyed collecting pretty pictures since the dawn of cutting and pasting things called books and magazines. Remember those?

I’m just having too much fun being a mommy of two. So much so that I’ve been collapsing into bed early (relatively speaking) every night since our little Luke was born. So that explains the sporadic posting. Hopefully I can get back into the groove. It’s been a tad cumbersome toting around an SLR, so prepare yourself for Instagram overload. Every now and then, I’ll surprise you (and myself) with something in higher resolution. For now, here’s our “lately” via iPhone photos:

ONE MONTH OLD

I’m a little late in posting this. In fact, I haven’t posted much at all lately. Another human being to care for in the home will do that to you. I don’t mind one bit. He is a bundle of joy. A chubby bundle of joy that is. He’s gained 3 lbs. in three weeks! More to love I’d say!
